    About Virginia

I've been practicing Yoga for 26 years and teaching in Southwest Florida for 17 years. With regard to the hatha yoga exercises, my teaching emphasis is on the synchronization of movement and breath. I encourage students to move at their own pace and to 'listen' to their bodies. It is my sincere hope that students learn to calm the nervous system and focus the mind while building strength and balance.

Good to know

Before your first visit

Questions we hear most from island visitors and new members.

I am visiting the island. Can I drop in?

Yes. A single class is $25 ($45 on the reformer) and you can reserve it on the live schedule. Five- and ten-class passes suit a longer stay.

Do I need experience for the Group Reformer class?

Yes: the group class asks for experience on the apparatus first. Free demo sessions are available, and a private session is the best introduction.

What if a class is full?

Sign up on the waitlist. We add additional classes once two or more people are waiting.

What should I bring to spin?

Firm-soled shoes and light clothing; bring a water bottle, and a small towel is handy. Come five minutes early to set up your bike.

Can you come to my home or rental?

Yes. In-home massages, private classes on your deck or the beach, private group cycling and gentle senior fitness are all arranged by appointment.

How do I manage my bookings?

Sign in to your WellnessLiving account from any booking page, or use the WellnessLiving Achieve app on your phone.
